City Offices scheduled for the November 7, 2023, election include:

  • Mayor
  • City Council: District 1
  • City Council: District 3
  • City Council: Member At-Large (1 seat)
  • Commissioner of Public Works (1 seat)

Early Voting

In-person voting for the Nov. 7, 2023, Municipal and Special Purpose District Elections will begin Monday, Oct. 23, and continue through Friday, Nov. 3. Voters may cast their ballot from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the following locations:

  • Greenville County Square: 301 University Ridge Note: enter off of Howe Street and follow the "Early Voting" signs. Voting will be in the old building.
  • City of Greenville Public Works: 475 Fairforest Way

Absentee Ballots

Voters wishing to apply for an Absentee Ballot by mail may call the Greenville County Voter Registration & Election Office, Absentee Department, at 864-467-7264. The last day for the office to receive a signed absentee application is October 27, 2023.

2025 GENERAL ELECTION    

City Offices scheduled for the November 4, 2025, election include:

  • City Council: District 2
  • City Council: District 4
  • City Council: Member At-Large (1 seat)
  • Commissioner of Public Works (1 seat)

Eligibility

The Mayor, City Council members, and Commissioner of Public Works (Greenville Water Commission) shall be qualified electors of the state, county and city and shall have resided within the corporate limits of the City for at least 6 months immediately preceding the date of their election. (Sec. 2-33).
