Events in the Park
Falls Park is a popular location for public events, from festivals and music to stage performances to private events such as wedding rehearsals, family picnics and business retreats.
Some locations are only available for rental with a special events permit.
Special Event Permits
Individuals, organizations and agencies wishing to conduct public gatherings on City of Greenville property are required to obtain a permit. This includes: block parties, concerts, parades, carnivals, park events, races, road closings, performances, filming, ceremonies and festivals. A Special Event Permit Application must be filled out and returned 15 to 60 business days prior to the start of the event. Individuals wishing to perform for gratuities on City-owned or operated sidewalks, plazas, parks and other public spaces are required to obtain a street performance permit at least 24 hours prior to performing.

Falls Park Upper Amphitheater
This circular lawn amphitheater is located in the center of the Main Garden. The space accommodates a maximum of 200 guests. Fees are $375 for 4 hours, and $50 for each additional hour. Main Street Plaza and the Amphitheater may be rented together for $500 for 4 hours. A special event permit is required for this rental.
Main Street Plaza
This canopied and paved plaza located just off South Main Street can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests. Fees are $375 for 4 hours, and $50 for each additional hour. Main Street Plaza and Community Foundation of Greenville Amphitheater may be rented together for $500 for 4 hours. A special event permit is required for this rental.
Falls Park Lower Amphitheater
The large, open green space at the bottom of the park that hosts Shakespeare in the Park and the World Finance Moonlight Movies series. This space accommodates up to 650 guests. Fees are $500 for 4 hours Monday - Friday, and $800 for 4 hours Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. A special event permit is required for this rental.
Old Mill Garden and River Lodge Wedding Site
The Old Mill Garden is located just downstream from the stunning Reedy River Falls. This space accommodates a maximum of 100 guests, and must be rented in conjunction with River Lodge. The Old Mill Garden is available in 4 and 8 hour rental blocks. More about weddings in Falls Park.
River Lodge is the perfect site for picnics. This rustic shelter accommodates a maximum of 100 guests. Weekday reservations are available for $200 for 4 hours, and $50 for each additional hour. Event Lawn at Liberty Bridge
Manicured event lawn located at the entrance to the Liberty Bridge. All private events are required to book through the Grand Bohemian and will require a Special Event Permit. Public events by a non-private organization will require a Special Event Permit and a park reservation.
Rental Fees are $500 for a half day or $900 for a full day, Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays rates are $800 for a half day and $1,200 for a full day.
