Large-Scale Developments


By a 5-1 vote on November 29, 2022. the Planning Commission members recommended approval of an amended development plan that will transform the business district in West Greenville.

Located along Pendleton Street at Traction, Saco and Smith Streets, the Woven project includes annexation and redevelopment of 12 parcels of property to create 214 residential units, as well as 30,000 square feet of retail and an equal amount of open space.

In July, the Commission had recommended denial of the application, citing concerns around mass, scale, size and density. The City Council considered the project in November and remanded it to Planning Commission for further review. 

City Council will receive the Planning Commissions report on December 12, 2022. Documents are provided below.
